Having a resource loaded schedule opens a whole new dimension of data you can get from your project schedule. In this course you’ll learn all about resources in Microsoft Project including: different resource types, resource calendars, rates, and how we can burden and escalate those rates over time. Once you have your schedule resource loaded, you’ll learn how to use the Time Scaled Values tool to analyze how those resources are used over your project’s period of performance. You can choose to analyze hours, dollars or both! You can see where your labor resources are overloaded or under loaded and where you can move things around to smooth our the overall headcount or budget profiles.
